| New Heat Source |
To help offset the rising cost of heating bills at our Fire Station we decided to install a Outdoor Wood Furnace to heat our Station and our Firehall. We have (3) three fuel oil furnaces in our building, this outdoor burner is tied into all (3) three by radiators supplied by hot water that is heated by our outdoor wood and coal burner. The outdoor burner has saved us alot of money normally spent to buy fuel oil, plus the constant heat in the building has made our station much warmer than the oil furnace ever did. With little upkeep on the burner and fixing the fire morning and night, this purchase has turned out to be one of the best investments we ever made at our Fire Station.
